Soccer Recap: Central Has No Trouble Against Franklinton

Central hasn't lost a match since November 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They blew past the Franklinton Demons 6-1. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Franklinton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grady Hoffman (4), Carter Troy, and Milton Guevara.

Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Franklinton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Central face off against the McKinley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Franklinton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Landry at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
