Softball Recap: Wheaton Has No Trouble Against Billings

Wheaton won the last time they faced Billings and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Wheaton and bumps their season record up to 8-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Billings, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7.

Wheaton has already played their next match (against Golden City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Billings will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' game: after the Bulldogs face off against Purdy, they'll take on Billings again on Friday.
