If the Hart Longhorns were feeling good off their 83-23 takedown of the Lazbuddie Longhorns last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hart took a 83-67 bruising from Springlake-Earth on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for jj jaramillo, who scored 40 points for Springlake-Earth. Another player making a difference was Gavin Gonzales, who scored 11 points.
Hart's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Springlake-Earth, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Hart will head out on the road to face off against Kress at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Springlake-Earth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lazbuddie at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lazbuddie comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
