Houston lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Avery Kingsley, who scored 20 points. Kingsley is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Botcher, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Houston's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Waukon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.
