While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, The Pittsford Panthers were not quite the Aquinas Institute Little Irish's's equal in the second half on Friday. Pittsford received a tough blow as they fell 24-10 to Aquinas Institute. Pittsford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Aquinas Institute apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Derrion Battle got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 262 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
Pittsford now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Aquinas Institute, their victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3.
Pittsford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aquinas Institute will head out on the road to face off against Fairport at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
