Fordham Prep is 2-8 against Kennedy Catholic since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rams will host the Gaels at 4:15 p.m. The last three games Fordham Prep has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On the hitting side, Jack McKillop made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of John MedinA, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Catholic got themselves on the board against Monsignor Scanlan on Tuesday, but Monsignor Scanlan never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Crusaders.
Kennedy Catholic also got a great performance from Frank Lucchese as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Vince Cannizzaro was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Lorenzo Jorge was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Kennedy Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monsignor Scanlan only posted an OBP of .222.
Kennedy Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fordham Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Fordham Prep's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kennedy Catholic, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Fordham Prep continue to outrun the ball?
