They were dealt a 70-12 defeat at the hands of KIPP San Jose Collegiate. KIPP Navigate College Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-4.
Isaiah Hernandez was KIPP Navigate College Prep's leading scorer, having posted five points.
David Quezada Orantes held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
KIPP Navigate College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP Navigate College Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Tahoma at 5:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
