Pymatuning Valley has struggled against Badger recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Pymatuning Valley had strong showings from Taryn Tisch, who scored ten points, and Jolene Sharpe, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Tisch.
It was another big night for Gabriella Miller, who scored 23 points along with eight steals for Badger. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Katie Grexa, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Pymatuning Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Badger, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pymatuning Valley will square off against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Badger, they will head out on the road to face off against Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bristol will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Badger is ranked 141st).
