The Lakeside Rams won the last time they faced the Hot Springs Trojans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lakeside breezed by the Trojans at home to the tune of 68-26. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for Lakeside this season.
It was another big night for Amelia Rogers, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Williams, who scored three points along with two steals.
Lakeside's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Hot Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.
Lakeside will be playing in front of their home fans against the Zebras at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Bluff has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 7. Hot Springs will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
