A Season-Best Performance from Brody Anderson Leads Burlington over Anderson County
On Friday, Burlington got the W thanks in part to Brody Anderson playing the best football he has all season. Anderson rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Anderson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Girard on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Anderson saw the Trojans), he picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

If the past is any indication, Schwarz could be in store for another big game when he takes on Anderson County on Friday. When Schwarz last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

On Friday, Wellsville got the W thanks in part to Payton Otwell playing the best football he has all season. Otwell rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Otwell must have Santa Fe Trail's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Otwell rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Goodwin and Prairie View will face off against Anderson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Goodwin took on the Bulldogs, he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
