There's no place like home for Dexter, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Penquis Valley Patriots 11-1 on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Penquis Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dexter will welcome Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Penquis Valley, they will be playing at home against Searsport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
