The Georgetown Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 13th straight loss. They were beaten by Aynor 58-25. Georgetown was down 42-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aynor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terianna Richardson, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Richardson has scored all season. Lainey Squires was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Georgetown's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Aynor, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will take on Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dillon will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Georgetown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aynor, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Loris at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Loris focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
