The Linden Lions lost against the Edison Vikings back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Linden had to suffer through a rough 85-28 loss at the hands of the Vikings. Linden has struggled against the Vikings recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Edison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Arthur Grady jr. out in front who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Damarcus Cobb Jr, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Linden has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Edison, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Linden will take on the Delta Kings at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Stagg is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Edison, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Mustangs at 2:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Monterey Trail knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 24 contests -- so hopefully the Vikings like a good challenge.
