 Allison Lui made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.2  strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Juliette Ramirez was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Hailey Truong, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
Notre Dame's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-3-1. As for Sequoia, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Sequoia, they will face off against Half Moon Bay at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
