Marshall picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 2-16. As for Odessa, they dropped their record down to 12-11 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will challenge Lafayette County at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Huskers' pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so the Owls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Odessa, they will take on St. Michael the Archangel at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Guardians will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
