With a playoff win on the line, Dos Pueblos rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Colton Yellowjackets as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won four matches in a row.
Kaitlyn Ashby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kacey Hurley was incredible, firing off three home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Anastasia Brunner was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
