The South Florence Bruins won the last time they faced the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, and things went their way on Tuesday too. South Florence came out on top against the Seahawks by a score of 37-29.
South Florence got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Montgomery out in front who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that Montgomery pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Allyson watson, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
South Florence now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Myrtle Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
South Florence will head out on the road to take on the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Myrtle Beach and the Bruins are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Myrtle Beach, they will be playing at home against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
