Berkmar is 1-8 against Discovery since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Berkmar Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Discovery Titans at 5:30 p.m. Berkmar has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17.
Last Saturday, Berkmar was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-47 to Tucker.
Discovery fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 56-45 win over Duluth on Friday.
Berkmar bumped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Discovery, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Berkmar was dealt a bruising 64-24 defeat at the hands of Discovery in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Berkmar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
