Spoto is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Bloomingdale is on a 13-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The pair will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
Spoto has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season. They blew past King 66-15 on the road. Spoto's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The game was Thomas' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Dominique Boone was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bloomingdale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They snuck past Sickles with a 61-57 win. Given Bloomingdale's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Sickles is ranked 108th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bloomingdale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noelle Mengel out in front who scored 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Mengel has scored at least 25% of Bloomingdale's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izellah Kendrick, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds.
