The Foster Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Randle Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Foster had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 53-42 victory over Fulshear. The victory was all the more spectacular given Foster's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while Fulshear is ranked 307th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremy Freeman, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jalen Stephanson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Randle posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 50-23 victory over Terry. The win was just what Randle needed coming off of a 50-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Foster pushed their record up to 6-15 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Randle, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.
Foster beat Randle 69-62 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Foster repeat their success, or does Randle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
