Penns Grove (Carneys Point, N.J.) captured the lead in the fourth quarter and held on for a 24-19 victory over
Salem (N.J.) on Saturday. The Red Devils took the lead for good when
Ronald Brooks ran for a touchdown.
The Rams pulled ahead on a touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 19-12. The Red Devils took the lead for good with a touchdown run by Brooks in the fourth quarter.
But six points in the fourth helped Penns Grove pull out the victory.
The loss comes after Salem defeated Gloucester City 41-14 last week. With the win PG extended its winning streak to three games.
