Navajo Pine is on a three-game streak of home losses, Ramah a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Navajo Pine Warriors will take on the Ramah Mustangs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Navajo Pine will be strutting in after a win while Ramah will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Navajo Pine earned a 50-38 win over Tse' Yi' Gai. The win was just what Navajo Pine needed coming off of a 54-31 defeat in their prior game.
Navajo Pine had a senior duo take command as Nehemiah McDaniel scored 19 points and Kyle Catron scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Gentry Arthur, who scored six points.
Ramah suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Quemado, falling 77-46.
Navajo Pine has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Ramah, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
Everything came up roses for Navajo Pine against Ramah when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-41 win. Does Navajo Pine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ramah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
