Bayonne were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday, as they fell 28-33 to Livingston. Bayonne got a solid performance out of senior Azhaun Dingle, who rushed for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Dickinson had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-37 walloping at Belleville's hands.
