The Webber Trojans won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They were outmatched by Farina South Central on the road and fell 63-26. Webber was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.
Webber's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shayla Brumley, who scored seven points. Chloe King was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Webber's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Farina South Central, their win bumped their record up to 13-14.
