McCutcheon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 56-29 victory over Harrison at home.
Aubrey Miller and Lillie Graves were among the main playmakers for McCutcheon as the former scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and the latter scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The contest was Graves' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chloe Finney, who scored seven points along with six steals.
Chesterton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 72-50 margin over Lake Station Edison.
Chesterton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Tenley Davis, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds, and Kenedi Bradley, who scored 25 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bradley has scored at least 25% of Chesterton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Bonner, who scored nine points along with seven assists and four steals.
McCutcheon's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Chesterton, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Wednesday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy match: McCutcheon have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 31.8 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Chesterton, though, as they've been averaging only 32.4 rebounds per game. Given McCutcheon's sizeable advantage in that area, Chesterton will need to find a way to close that gap.
