Bellingham will challenge Cedarcrest on the road at Cedarcrest HS at 7:00 PM on Friday. The teams have set a high bar for this contest after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
Bellingham took the game and then some with a 47-0 win last week over Sammamish.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Liberty in their previous matchup, Cedarcrest were happy to find some success. Everything went Cedarcrest's way against Sultan as the squad secured a 42-7 victory. Cedarcrest were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Bellingham to 1-2 and Cedarcrest to 2-1. In their win, Cedarcrest relied heavily on senior Tyler Gray, who picked up 91 yards on the ground and snatched 2 receiving TDs. Bellingham will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
