The Liberty Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Man Hillbillies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Liberty is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Last Monday, Liberty took a serious blow against Summers County, falling 75-47.
Meanwhile, Man came into Monday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sherman 51-49. The win was just what Man needed coming off of a 58-32 loss in their prior match.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Man, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
Liberty strolled past Man in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 78-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
