Zach Werlinger and Rajhan Meriwether provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Green Valley. The longest such play in I Section I this season, the connection resulted in 88 yards.
Chandler was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Wolves triumphed over Centennial 41-21.
Basha's dynamic duo of Werlinger and Meriwether proved to be unstoppable against the Gators, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Werlinger threw for 373 yards and 4 touchdowns and Meriwether had 116 yards receiving. Doc O'Connor helped Basha's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 109 yards.

Ryan McCord was the best running back in the league this week. In 33 carries, he ran for 178 yards as the Hawks topped the Gators. Devin James also contributed to the rushing game with 32 yards on the ground.
Meriwether was the best receiver in I Section I this week as the Bears bested Green Valley.
