The Eastlake Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Issaquah Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Eastlake has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
While Eastlake's win against Inglemoor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves skirted past the Vikings 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Addi Baumgartner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Audrey Borup was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Elle Dill also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Issaquah had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They blew past the Kangaroos 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Abby Cleveland (2026), who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Huryn (2025), who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Issaquah hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.
Issaquah pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Eastlake, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Eastlake hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Issaquah struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.3 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Eastlake couldn't quite get it done against Issaquah when the teams last played on April 4th as they fell 10-5. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
