Meanwhile, Jefferson faced Lincoln County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Jefferson slipped by Lincoln County 33-32 on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Johnson, who rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyzer Zody, who threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Manhattan to 10-1 and Jefferson to 7-4.
