After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellington, The D'Evelyn Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They blew past Prospect Ridge Academy 35-6 at home. The result was nothing new for D'Evelyn, who have now won three matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead D'Evelyn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Allen, who rushed for 92 yards on only eight carries. Another player making a difference was Kevyn Feldon, who threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Prospect Ridge Academy had strong showings from Vincente Aguilera, who gained 102 total yards and a touchdown, and Travis Agbosse, who picked up 45 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
D'Evelyn's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. D'Evelyn will take on Valley at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Valley is ranked 173rd, while D'Evelyn is ranked 164th). As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Platte Valley at 4:00 p.m. Platte Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
