The SkyView Academy Hawks will face off against the Frontier Academy Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. SkyView Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Frontier Academy likes a good challenge.
SkyView Academy will bounce into Friday's game after beating Bishop Machebeuf, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. SkyView Academy walked away with a 58-50 victory over Bishop Machebeuf on Saturday.

SkyView Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Dove out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Dove is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Markus Lloyd, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frontier Academy). They were the clear victor by an 81-61 margin over Valley on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.
SkyView Academy better keep an eye on Lucas Carmichael. He was instrumental in Frontier Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 30 points and ten boards. What's more, Carmichael also posted a 53% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Jackson Belt was another key player, going 7-for-11 on his way to 15 points.
Frontier Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Frontier Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for SkyView Academy, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: SkyView Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Frontier Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
