Green managed to slip by Notre Dame the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats came up short against the Titans on Wednesday, falling 16-5. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gabe Blevins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Kimbler, who went 3-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

Green's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Notre Dame, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Green will challenge South Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
