Willard waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Monett Cubs with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Willard have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Willard's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Monett, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Willard has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Bolivar on the 11th. As for Monett, they will head out on the road to face off against Marshfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
