St. Charles has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Bishop Watterson Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Charles will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 379th, while Bishop Watterson is ranked 127th).
Last Tuesday, St. Charles was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-49 to Worthington Christian.
Meanwhile, Bishop Watterson entered their tilt with Johnstown-Monroe with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Bishop Watterson walked away with a 56-45 victory over Johnstown-Monroe on Tuesday.
St. Charles' defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bishop Watterson, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
St. Charles beat Bishop Watterson 35-27 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Does St. Charles have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bishop Watterson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
