Westminster Academy barely beat West Boca Raton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Bulls with a sharp 13-2 win on Tuesday. Considering the Lions have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Macie Foster was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyah Williams, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Westminster Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Westminster Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-11. As for West Boca Raton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Westminster Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Stoneman Douglas on the 16th. As for West Boca Raton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Spanish River on the 16th.
