Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Grace Christian had won four straight road games and Jordan Speller did her part to make it five on Friday. The Grace Christian Crusaders blew past the St. David's Warriors, posting a 63-9 win thanks in part to Speller, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Grace Christian is 12-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was AdAorA Mogbo, who posted seven points along with five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.9 points. As for St. David's, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

When Grace Christian and St. David's next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Grace Christian will take on Terry Sanford and their five-game winning streak at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Grace Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season. Similarly, St. David's will try to stop Trinity Academy's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
