Hailey Bennett posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out 20 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
