Fans got a thrill when Cameron West and James Bowman connected against Lake Clifton. The longest such play in Baltimore City Division II this season, the connection resulted in 63 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Douglass beat the Lakers 32-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Mighty Ducks.
Bowman was the best receiver in the league this week as Douglass bested Lake Clifton. Bowman racked up 2 receptions for 109 yards. Teon Maesar helped Douglass' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 75 yards.
Douglass' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mighty Ducks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. West has thrown for 1,057 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Maesar has 19 catches for 294 yards.
The top two teams in Baltimore City Division II will face off this week when first place Douglass takes on second place Digital Harbor.
Lewis and Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas played the most contested game in the league this week, with Lewis eventually emerging with a 6-0 victory.
