The Arcanum Trojans won the last time they faced the Ansonia Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Arcanum managed a 47-41 win over Ansonia.
Arcanum can attribute much of their success to Brooke Anderson, who scored 12 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Anderson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alexis Gibbons, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Arcanum has yet to lose a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 3-1 record. As for Ansonia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcanum will take on Fort Loramie at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Loramie's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Arcanum's offense will have their work cut out for Arcanum. As for Ansonia, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Waynesfield-Goshen at 2:00 p.m. on December 9th.
