It was fun while it lasted, but George Washington Prep's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Monday. They and the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Generals' first draw of the season.

With that draw, George Washington Prep's record moves to 3-0-1. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they moved theirs to 1-3-3.

George Washington Prep didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Lakeview Charter on the 11th. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they will take on Verdugo Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Animo South Los Angeles' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
