The Magee Trojans will head out to take on the Union Yellowjackets at 6:00 a.m. on Friday. Magee has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Magee turned things around against St. Andrew's Episcopal on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-11 win over the Saints.

The team relied heavily on Carson Drake, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Oriuna Hunt, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Magee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .581. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February.
Choctaw Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Union proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Ftng Warriors 4-3.
Aubrie Coleman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 13 Ks.
On the hitting side, Destiny Moulds was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
The victory got Union back to even at 13-13-1. As for Magee, their record is now 5-9.
