The Lassiter Trojans fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against the Walton Raiders  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a   65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. Lassiter's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Lassiter lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Malia Loadwick, who  scored eight points along with 14  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Loadwick  pulled down eight or more   rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Hortman, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists.
 Even though they lost, Lassiter  were working as a unit and  finished the game with 15  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
  Graycen Ehlen continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Walton,  dropping  a double-double on 23 points and 11  rebounds. The  matchup was  Ehlen's sixth in a row with at least ten points.  Kate Bagley was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with six  rebounds.
 Lassiter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Walton,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Lassiter will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Pope at 6:00  p.m. Walton will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against St. Pius X Catholic at 6:00  p.m.  on December 8th. St. Pius X Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
