The Mifflin Punchers fell victim to the Grandview Heights Bobcats''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 24-0 loss to the Bobcats might stick with them for a while. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Henry Ohlinger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grandview Heights, rushing for 159 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Ohlinger's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Clifford, who threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
Mifflin's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Grandview Heights, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Mifflin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grandview Heights will look to defend their home field on Friday against Martins Ferry at 7:00 p.m.
