Last Friday, Greenville put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Blue Ridge to the tune of 50-0. No one put up better numbers for Greenville than senior Davis Beville, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 207 yards and 3 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Beville's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 49 points the game before, Travelers Rest faltered in their game last Friday. They took a serious blow against Greer, falling 6-58. Travelers Rest were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-35.
Greenville's win lifted them to 4-3 while Travelers Rest's defeat dropped them down to 5-2. We'll find out if Greenville can add another positive mark to their record or if Travelers Rest can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Greenville's step.
