Washington had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the nine-goal drubbing they dealt West Craven on Tuesday. The Pam Pack's defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Washington, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Washington pushed their record up to 11-1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those eight matchups. As for West Craven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13-1.
