Archbishop Murphy (Everett, Wash.) defeated South Whidbey (Langley, Wash.) 46-15 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Galgano in the first quarter, the Wildcats led 39-7 at the half.

The Everett school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 59-26.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Wildcats, which was coming off a 49-0 defeat at the hands of Lakewood in its previous game.
Archbishop Murphy (3-2) will play a 1A/2A Cascade game against Sultan next week, while South Whidbey (2-4) will take on Coupeville also in a 1A/2A Cascade game.
