Jillian Mapes was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 25 points. Zaylee Landmesser was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Ninety Six still got an impressive performance from Janiyah Squire, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 24 rebounds. Squire scored a full 55.8% of Ninety Six's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Gabby Hart, who scored 5 points along with 3 steals.
Cambridge Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ninety Six, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Cambridge Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Greenwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. Ninety Six will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ware Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
