Heartland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Overland Christian Eagle as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 20, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Heartland walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-20.

Heartland found their leader in sophomore Sarah Archibald, who had seven aces and three digs.

Coincidentally, Heartland and Overland Christian will both be playing Plaza Heights Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagle will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
