The Scarsdale Raiders gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on Harrison with a sharp 72-47 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Scarsdale also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Harrison still got an impressive performance from Joe Gjokaj, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Crupi, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.
Scarsdale's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Harrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Scarsdale will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop Stepinac at 5:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Harrison, they will be playing at home against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
